French Toast in a Cup

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces of bread, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 6 T milk
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Two drops of vanilla
  • Dash of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Butter the inside of your mug/bowl. (I use the “Jethro” cereal bowl.)Place the bread inside the mug/bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix egg with a fork, add 3 tablespoons of milk, sprinkle cinnamon, add vanilla. Mix it all together with a fork.

Pour the mixture over the bread in the cup/bowl. Smoosh it a little, and give it a minute to soak down into the bread.

Microwave one minute, then add ten seconds at a time until it’s cooked to your liking (no runny eggs). In my microwave that’s 1 minute, 20 seconds. Drizzle real maple syrup.
