Ingredients
- 2C. vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle beer
- 1 ½ C. flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- ½ jar pickle slices
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, gently whisk together beer, salt, pepper, garlic, and chili powder. In a separate bowl, add flour. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan until shimmering. Using tongs, dip pickle slices into beer mixture, then flour, then beer mixture again, and once more in flour. Add slices to oil and fry until golden, about 3 to 5 minutes.
