Pancake/Waffle Sandwiches

A quick breakfast to utilize the homemade premade mix, Whole-Wheat Pancake Mix!

Ingredients

  • Suggested fillings:
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup Whole-Wheat Pancake Mix
  • Butter or oil for the pan
  • chocolate-hazelnut spread/Nutella
  • peanut butter and preserves
  • apple or pumpkin butter and cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Whisk egg, buttermilk and oil in a large bowl.
2. Whisk in the pancake mix until just combined.
3. Heat a large pan or griddle and butter up.
4. Pour about 1 Tbsp of mix on griddle.
5. Cook for 2 mins, flip the pancakes, and cook for 1 min more.
6. use 2 pancakes to create a sandwich.

*To make waffles, place 1/4 cup batter in a preheated waffle iron.
