Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter and sugars.
Add peanut butter and eggs and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually stir dry ingredients into batter.
Refrigerate dough for 2-3 hours.
Shape dough into walnut-sized balls and place on cookie sheet about three inches apart.
Flatten dough into a crisscross pattern with a greased fork dipped in flour or sugar.
Bake in 350° oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
Cool slightly on cookie sheet for about a minute before transferring to rack to cool completely.
