cup spring water
cups ginger water (or to taste)
cup simple syrup (or to taste)
cup orange vodka
cup citrus vodka
Juice oranges, limes and lemon and pour into a large pitcher. Add remaining ingredients and refrigerate for several hours. To serve, pour over ice into tall glasses and garnish with an orange twist and candied ginger. Makes about 10 cups. *Ginger water: Peel and dice a 6 inch piece of ginger root. Place in a food processor with 4 cups spring water, and puree for 7-10 seconds. Water should be pale yellow with small pieces of ginger in it. Pour ginger water into a glass container and chill. Mixture will continue to infuse as it rests. You may leave the ginger pieces in or strain it before adding to the drink. *Simple Syrup: Mix equal parts sugar and water, and boil until sugar dissolves. Let cool, store in refrigerator and use to sweeten beverages.
