Apple Pie

I make this pie every holiday and people rave about it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbs flour (overloaded)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 6 or more macintosh apples peel & sliced
  • 2 pie crusts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400

Pour ingredients, except egg, on top of apples in a large bowl. Mix together until apples are well coated with mixture. Put apples in pie crust and top with another pie crust up-side-down. Press edges together.

Beat egg and spread on top of crust with a pastry brush.

Bake for 50 minutes (crust will be very brown, no resistance threw apples)
