Splenda Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup calorie-reduced margarine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup semisweet, mini chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Using a mixer, beat the margarine, sugar and Splenda. Blend until well combined. Add egg and vanilla and beat to combine, scraping down sides. Gradually add flour mixture and beat until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets. Press gently to flatten dough. Bake until edges are golden brown, about 9-10 mins. Let sit on baking sheets for 2-3 mins and transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
