Molten Spiced Chocolate Cakes

Ingredients

  • 4 oz (115 g) semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1/2 c butter. 125 ml
  • 1 tsp Cabernet Sauvignon 15 ml
  • 1 tsp vanilla 15 ml
  • 1 c icing sugar. 250 ml
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 6 tablespoon flour 90 ml
  • 1/4 tsp ginger 1 ml
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1 ml
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves .5 ml

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425f. Microwave chocolate & butter in a glass bowl on high for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Whisk til chocolate melts. Stir in wine, vanilla, and sugar until blended. Stir in eggs & yolk, flour & spices. Pour evenly into 4-6oz/175 ml ramekins. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes until sides are firm and Center is soft. Cool 1 minute. Loosen edges with knife invert onto dessert plates. Sprinkle with icing sugar, chocolate curls or drizzle with chocolate syrup.
