Ingredients
- 20 pound turkey
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2-3 Tbs salt
- 1 Tbs pepper
- 2 onions, quartered
- 1 1/2 lemons, quartered
- bunch of thyme
- bunch of sage
- 4-5 stalks celery, cut in 2 inch pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325
Take giblets and neck out of turkey (save for gravy)
Wash inside and out and dry with paper towels
Place turkey in large roasting pan
Sprinkle cavity with salt and pepper, and stuff with onion, lemon, thyme, sage and celery
Brush outside of turkey with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Roast turkey for 4 hours, or until temperature between thigh and leg registers about 175-180 degrees (Ithink it's about 12 minutes per pound)
Remove turkey from oven and cover loosely with foil for 20 minutes
