(8oz) pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
apples, peeled cored, and chopped
cup brown sugar
cup chopped pecan, toasted
Melt butter in 7 x 11 baking dish, set aside. Cook sugar and 1/4 cup water in saucepan over medium high heat until sugar melts. Preheat oven to 375, unroll crescent dough onto a board. Combine apples, brown sugar, and remaining 3 ingredients. Sprinkle over dough. Starting with short end, roll dough up, jelly roll fashion, pressing seam to seal, cut into 10 (3/4" thick) slices and place in baking dish. Pour sugar mixture carefully over dumplings. Bake 35-38 minutes or until golden brown.
