Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes
- boiling salted water
- cooking oil or butter or margarine

Step 1
Cook potatoes in their jackets in boiling salted water for about 30 minutes until they are almost done. Use a sharp knife rather than a fork to test for doneness. Cool a bit until you can handle them. Peel. Leave whole or cut in half crosswise.
Brush with cooking oil or butter. Heat on medium-hot grill turning and basting occasionally until browned and crusted. Total time is about 15 to 20 minutes.
