Cake/Cookie Torte

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. margarine
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1/2 t. salt
• 1 t. baking powder
• 1/2 c. milk
• Cookie:
• 2/3 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. margarine
• 2 t. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 7/8 c. flour
• 1/2 t. salt
• 2 t. baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a torte pan; set aside. Cream together sugar, margarine and vanilla. Add eggs. Mix together dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture alternating with milk (for cake torte). Bake 25 minutes. Cool. Fill with fruit. Make package of torte glaze with apple juice. Pour over torte. Chill.
