Ingredients
- 1 lb. cubed beef
- flour
- shortening
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 t. salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1/2 t. sugar
- 1 t. parsley
- 2 T. vegemite
- 4 – 5 potatoes, diced
- 3 onions, diced
- 4 carrots, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced

Preparation
Step 1
Coat beef with flour and brown in shortening. Add water, salt, pepper, sugar, parsley and vegemite. Add diced vegetables and cook slowly in crock-pot several hours. Add water as needed. Thicken before serving.
