Fettuccine with Beef and Peppers

  • 9 oz refrigerated fettuccine
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook fettuccine as directed on package. Drain; cover and keep warm.

2. Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, cook ground beef over medium-heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cook, drain.

3. Add bell peppers; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.

4. Add half and half, pesto, salt, pepper and fettuccine. Reduce heat medium; cook and stir 3-5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
