Ingredients

  • For the cider:

  • 2

    cups apple cider

  • ¼

    cup maple syrup

  • 2

    cinnamon sticks

  • ½

    teaspoon cloves

  • ¼

    teaspoon allspice

  • ¼

    teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1

    teaspoon fresh orange zest

  • 3

    fresh orange wedges

  • For the sangria:

  • 1

    bottle Pinot Grigio

  • ½

    cup orange juice

  • ½

    cup brandy

  • 2

    honey crisp apples, cubed

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine all the cider ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat and strain into a large pitcher. 2. Add the Pinot Grigio, orange juice, and brandy. Using a KitchenAid® Hand Blender on low speed, blend the ingredients until well combined. Add the apple cubes. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours or overnight.
