Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp fat
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • toothpicks

Preparation

Step 1

Dip cabbage leaves in hot water to softern. Dry leaves on clean towel. Combine meat, salt and pepper, rice, and milk. Mix well. Place rice mixture in each leaf. Roll leaf and fasten with toothpick. Heat fat. Brown rolls lightly. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Add hot water. Cook for 10 minutes in pressure cooker. Cool.
