Pastry for 1 two-crusted pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cups ice cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients. Cut shortening in with pastry blender until crumbly. Add water. Can be done with mixer. Always roll pastry from center to edge - never right across.
