Sichuan chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c chicken broth
  • 2 T soya sauce
  • 2 T rice vinegar
  • 2 t cornstarch
  • 1 t sugar
  • 1 t srriracha(Thia chile and garlic sauce)
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 &1/2 lb chicken breast cut into 1"
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 3 stalk celery
  • 1 c diced chestnuts
  • 1/4 c chopped peanuts
  • 3 c cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix broth, soya, vinegar, cornstarch, sugar, sriracha. set aside.
heat oil in wok, add chicken for 6 minutes. remove then add mushrooms, peppers, onions, celery for 6 minutes. Add reserved broth, soya mixture, water chestnuts and cooked chicken. Simmer 2 minutes till thick. Sprinkle with peanuts and serve with rice
