Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1/2 c. margarine
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 2 T. milk
• 1 t. vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1 t. soda
• 1/2 t. salt
• sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375º. In large bowl beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg; blend well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cook completely. Makes 3½ dozen.
