Seaweed Soup 1 Picture


  • 1/2 # ground pork
  • 1 qt water
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 4 chopped water chestnuts
  • 3 sheets musubi nori torn into small pieces
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 egg - slightly beaten
  • 1 green onion - chopped
  • 3/4 t sesame oil

Step 1

Brown the ground pork.

Add water and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes then add the chicken broth, water chestnuts, seaweed and salt.

Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for a few minutes (3-5)

Beat the egg and add to the soup along with the green onion and sesame oil just before serving.
