Chantilly Grits

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Boiling water + Salt to taste
  • 2 Cups Quick grits
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2 C Heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add Grits to boiling water and stir constantly for 5 minutes.

2. Reduce heat to very low, cover and cook 30 minutes whisking often. Add more water if grits become too stiff.

3. Add butter and cream at end of cooking time. Stir til smooth. Adjust salt as needed.
