Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C Butter, softened
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 C Sugar
- 2 C Flour
- 1 box Pillsbury 2 layer size Double Dutch Fudge Frosting
- 2 C ch. Nuts
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream butter. Add eggs, 2 at a time beating well after each.
2. Gradually add sugar, continue beating at high speed until light and fluffy.
3. By hand, stir in flour, frosting mix, and nuts. Blend well.
4. Pour into greased Bundt pan. Bake 350 deg 60-65 minutes. Cool 2 hours then remove from pan. Cool completely before serving.
5. Nuts and frosting mix are essential. Since cake has a soft fudgy interior, test for doneness after 60 min. by observing a dry shiny crust.
