Spinach Pear Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 pears, sliced
  • cinnamon (to taste)
  • romaine lettuce, chopped, as needed
  • baby spinach (to taste)
  • dried cranberries or cherries (to taste)
  • sliced almonds (to taste)
  • raspberry vinaigrette dressing (to taste)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Poach pears: In a saucepan on top of stove, cover pears with water, and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

2. Season with cinnamon, if you like; let them cool for a few minutes.

3. Mix lettuce, spinach, dried cranberries, almonds, and pears together.

4. Pour raspberry vinaigrette over it and enjoy.
