Ingredients
- Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 30 graham cracker squares
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Layer one:
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 small packages Cream Whip
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- chopped nuts (optional)
- or-
- 2 (3 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- (chopped nuts (optional)
- Layer two:
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 can pie filling (apple or cherry)
Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
Crush crackers with a rolling pin (not blender). Add butter and press firmly into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Layer one:
Mix cream cheese and milk (or Cream Whip) and 2 cups of confectioners' sugar and spread over cooled crust. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
Layer two:
Whip cream with sugar and vanilla. Spread over nuts. Pour pie filling over whipping cream layer in small amounts, using a fork to spread. Chill well.
