Green beans with almond pesto

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 C chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 C sliced almonds toasted
  • 1 large clove garlic pressed
  • 1/3 C extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb fresh green beans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except green beans in food processor. Pulse until finally chopped to make pesto. Add salt and pepper. Cook green beans about 4 minutes Top green beans with pesto and garnish with additional almonds.
