pasta tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 T oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, diced
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 2 stalk celery, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 peppers, diced
  • 4 T tamari
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 28 oz can marzano peeled tomatoes
  • 2 T cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

heat oil in large soup pot; add garlic, onions, clelery, carrots, peppers and seasonings. saute for 7 minutes.
put in blender; tomatoes and cornstarch. blend at medium speed for 1 minute. add blended mixture to soup pot. cook for 1 hour uncovered.
