Ingredients

8 oz. margarine
1 3/4 c. castor sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar in bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift and add flour, baking powder and salt. Shape into log, chill. Slice and bake 10 – 15 minutes at 350º – 375º. Makes 4 – 5 dozen. Will freeze for months if wrapped securely in foil or plastic.
