Chocolate Pecan Tart

  • Filling:
  • Use Pie Crust
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. + 1 TBS brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter, stir in corn syrup & brown sugar over medium-low heat. Cook until 120'. Cool to room temp., whisk in eggs, salt and vanilla.

After the dough is in the pan brush with chocolate ganache, put in pecans pour mix over pecans.

Bake @ 300 for 50 minutes~1 hour for full size tart or 20-35 minutes for individual tart

When cool, drizzle with more chocolate.
