Ingredients

  • 1 c. self rising flour
  • 1 c. rising cornmeal
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1/2 c. bacon grease

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together and set aside. Fry 1 pound sausage or ground beef until brown. Drain. Mix sausage in with batter. Chop 1 onion, 4 tiny hot peppers. Pour half of batter in a greased pan. Sprinkle over batter onions, peppers, 1 package pepperoni, 1 c. grated cheddar cheese and 1 c. mozzarella cheese. Pour in remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
