Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- diced celery
- diced carrot
- peas
- flour for thickening
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef with slt and pepper. Add onion and celery. Saute until tender. Put mixture in roaster. Add water to pan and scrape bits. Add to roaster. Add more water and diced carrots. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Add peas. Thicken with flour and water. Great over toast, with mashed potatos, or with dumplings. You can also put in a pie crust.
