Ingredients
- 1 (3 lb) corned beef
- 6 carrots, cut into quarters
- 6 potatoes, peeled, cut into quarters
- 1 turnip, peeled, cut into haves
- 1 large head cabbage, cored, cut into quarters

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the corned beef with enough water to cover in stockpot. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2-3 hours, or until tender, adding additional water as needed. Add the carrots, potatoes and turnip. Boil just until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Layer the cabbage over the vegetable mixture. Boil for 20 minutes longer.
