Ingredients

  • 2 T. soft margarine
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 18 1/2 oz. yellow cake mix
  • 1/8 t. nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. egg nog
  • 4 T. margarine, melted
  • 2 T. rum
  • Egg Nog Icing
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 T. margarine
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 3 T. eggnog

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a Bundt pan with soft margarine. Coat with almonds. Combine cake mix, nutmeg, eggs, eggnog, melted margarine and rum. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 45 – 55 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes then invert onto rack to cool.
