Ingredients
- 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400F. In a saucepan, combine flour and sugar. Stir in milk, butter, salt and vanilla. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil, then continue cooking for about a min longer. Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
2. Bake at 400F for 5 mins. Reduce heat to 350F and continue baking for 25 mins.
