Pasta with Vodka Sauce

  • 3 tbs butter
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper ( i usually use 1/4)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • garlic



Step 1

Over medium heat melt butter and saute garlic being careful not to let it burn. Add tomatoes and red pepper and simmer for 5 minutes, stir in cream and stir for 1 minute and then add Vodka.
*if doubling add Vodka slowly so not overpowering. I have done about 1/3 of cup otherwise it gets too strong.
