Gluehwein

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Ginger
  • Orange zest
  • 8 cloves
  • 3/8 c sugar
  • 3 c red wine

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients into saucepan except wine and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer until a thick syrup forms.

Pour in red wine and bring to just below the boiling point.

Serve.
