Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 c. milk

Step 1
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut butter into dry mixture with a pastry blender until crumbly, like biscuits. In a separate bowl, beat egg and vanilla. Add to crumb mixture and add milk. Do not over mix. Turn out on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with your hand. Bake at 350º for approximately 15 minutes. Serve with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
