Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 1 3/4 C flour
- 3/4 C cocoa
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- mix the above together
- then add the following
- 2 eggs
- 1 C milk
- 1/2 C vegetable oil (OR 1 C sour cream, which is the difference in the recipes that I prefer)
- 2 t vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
beat on medium for 2 minutes
stir in quickly 1 C boiling water
Bake in greased and floured pans for 8 or 9 inch pans, 22-25 minutes for 2/3 full cupcakes (about 30)
