Cocktail Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 12 oz can beer
  • 2 T crab boil seasoning (Old Bay)
  • 1/2 t hot pepper sauce
  • 1 lb lg shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1/2 c vinegar
  • 1 c cocktail sauce
  • 4 lemon wedges

Preparation

Step 1

In lg microwave bowl mix beer, crab seasoning, pepper sauce and vinegar. Nuke 5-7 min or until simmering. Stir in shrimp & nuke 3-5 min stirring once, just until pink. Remove from microwave and let stand 10 min. Drain off liquid, then cover and refrig shrimp for at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours. Serve cold with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges
