Mexican Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup lime juice; about 3-4 limes
  • 1 cup orange juice; about 3 oranges
  • 1/2 cup superfine sugar
  • 1/4 cup tequila, chillled
  • 1 750 ml medium-dry fruity white wine; chilled
  • 1-1/2 cup sparkling water; chilled
  • oranges, lime, raspberries; sliced

Preparation

Step 1

In a pitcher combine the lime juice, orange juice and sugar; stir until the
sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until needed.

Place fruit slices in bottom of pitcher.

Just before serving, add the tequila, wine and sparkling water to the lime
mixture.

Serve the sangria over ice in a tall glass garnished with a wheel of lime.
