Bush's Pulled Pork and Bean Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 medium green peppers, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 pounds pulled pork (regular or BBQ)
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) can BUSH’S® Chili Beans, drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can BUSH’S® Kidney Beans, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1.Heat oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, green pepper and dried seasonings. Cook 5 minutes; stir often.
2.Stir in tomatoes and pulled pork. Add chicken stock, hot sauce and beans. Bring to simmer. Cook 20-25 minutes.
3.Serve topped with sour cream, cilantro and cheese.
