Ingredients
- 1/4 C + 2 T butter, softened
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/2 C firmly packed brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 C whipping cream
- 1/4 C light corn syrup
- 1/4 t salt
- 3/4 C chopped black walnuts
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
- Whipped cream

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter in top of double boiler; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add whipping cream, syrup and salt, beating well. Place over rapidly boiling water and cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Stir in walnuts and vanilla. Pour filling into pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until set. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
