Green Peas & Rice Stew

  • Green Peas Stew:
  • 1 lb of peas and carrots (can or frozen)
  • 1/2 potato cut in cubes
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped onions
  • 1 small can of tomato sauce
  • All spices peppers
  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil
  • Rice:
  • 1 cup of long grain rice
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of vermicelli
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil


Preparation time 20mins


Step 1

Heat the oil in the pot and add the onion
Once it's gold, add the ground beef with the spices.
When the meat is cooked, add the vegetables and the red sauce.
Add 2 cups of water and leave it till it boils.

Heat the oil in the pot and add the vermicelli.
When the vermicelli is goldish, add the rice and the water.
Leave it on medium fire for 13 minutes.

Serve the stew warm with the rice side.
