Ingredients
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 c hot milk
- Salt
- Nutmeg - pinch
- 12 oz. Gruyere grated, or Swiss
- 1/2 c parmesan cheese
- White bread, toasted
- Dijon mustard
- Virginia ham

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and add flour to make roux. Pour hot milk over and cook until thickened (over low heat). Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Turn off heat and add cheeses, stirring until melted through.
Make sandwiches with toasted bread, ham and mustard. Place on baking sheet.
Put cheese sauce over sandwiches and broil until bubbly and brown.
