Jello Poke Cake

  • 1 2-layer white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 package jello, any flavor
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • whipped topping or frosting

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake according to directions for 9x13 pan.

Poke holes in cake with large 2 prong fork at 1/2 inch intervals.

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add cold water and spoon over cake. Chill for 4 hours.

Frost with cool whip or frosting. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish as desired.
