Onion Parmesan Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 sm onions finely chopped
- 2 shallots minced
- 3 cups all putpose flour
- 5 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 tbsp.(1.5 sticks) cold butter cubed.
- 1.5 cups grated parmesan, divided
- 1 cup cold milk.

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400*
Heat olive oil. Saute onions and shallots until very soft and caramelized - 10 to 12 min. Chill 10 min.
Pulse flour baking powder and salt. Add cold butter and pulse to size of peas. Add chilled onions and 1 cup cheese and pulse to blend.Add milk and pulse just till dough comes together.
Drop in mounds onto sprayed baking sheet, then sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Chill or bake immediately. Bake 18-20 min.
