Step 1

PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 F

SHIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, AND SALT SET ASIDE
STIR TOGETHER BUTTERMILK, VANILLA, BAKING SODA AND EGGS, ADD VINEGAR MIX AND SET ASIDE

MIX TOGETHER COCO, RED FOOD COLORING SET ASIDE, CREAM TOGETHER SHORTENING AND SUGAR TILL FLUFFY ALTERNATE ADDING IN FLOUR MIXTURE AND BUTTERMILK UNTIL ALL ARE COMBINED

POUR INTO 9 BY 13 PAN BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LET COOL
PLACE CUTTING BOARD ON TOP OF CAKE AND PAN . INVERT AND REMOVE PAN LEAVING CAKE ON CUTTING BOARD LET COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE ICING
