Ingredients

  • warm milk

  • slice of white bread

Directions

A scrape injury often causes a minor infection because of the nature of the injury which traps bits of junk in the wound no matter how carefully you clean the initial injury. Depending on the size of the scrape tear a piece of white bread about an inch or so larger than the injury and soak it in warm milk. Apply the soaked bread to the scrape and allow it to sit until it begins to dry out. The combination of the milk and yeast from the bread draws out the icky pussy stuff from the wound and encourages quicker healing. Repeat a few days or until the bread no longer draws any puss from the wound and the redness around the wound dissipates. (the portion of the bread on the wound will hold the yucky yellow puss so you can tell when the bread is no longer discolored after removing that it is cleaned out) If the wound begins seeping see your doctor it has become more than a minor infection.
