Ingredients
- 2 cups almonds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a non-stick fry pan. Start on high heat (8).
Boil quickly/aggressively (STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY)
When the almonds are coated (brown/white color), reduce heat to (6).
KEEP STIRRING
Remove from the heat when they coating starts to melt (looks shiny)
Put them on a greased piece of wax paper (I put a dishcloth underneath)
Separate with 2 forks
Let cool
