Scalloped Potatoes with Gruyere Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- Cooking spray
- 6 red potatoes, peeled & cut into 1/8" slices
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup (2oz) Gruyere cheese
- 1 cup milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 deg.
Rub an 11x7 baking dish with cut sides of garlic halves; discard garlic. Coat dish with cooking spray.
Arrange half of potatoes in dish, and drizzle with half of butter. Sprinkle with half of salt, pepper and cheese. Repeat layers. Bring milk to a boil over low heat in small saucepan; pour over potato mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes or until tender.
