Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken - quartered
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger - fresh minced (if available)

Step 1

Cut but do not sever joints between wings and breasts and drumsticks and thighs. Stretch out chicken quarters so they lie as flat as possible.

In shallow dish, stir remaining ingredients. Place chicken skin side down in shallow broiling pan in marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning a couple of times.

NEXT DAY: Place chicken skin down in broiler pan. Broil 8-10" from element on high heat til browned - about 20 minutes. Turn chicken and continue broiling until chicken is tender and skin looks charred - about 20 more minutes. Baste with reserved marinade several times during broiling.
